The invention discloses a wireless induction storage battery charge prompting method and device for an electric vehicle. The method comprises the following steps specifically: S01, a charge server in an electric vehicle charging station controls a second wireless module to continuously emit indication signals; S01, a controller on the electric vehicle detects remainingelectric quantity of the storage battery through an electronic quantity detection module, if the remaining electric quantity is greater than or equal to a first alarming threshold value, a follow-up operation is not executed; if the remaining electric quantity is less than the first alarming threshold value, a S03 is performed; and S03, the controller starts a first wireless module to receive wireless signals, when the first wireless module receives the indication signals, the controller controls an alarm apparatus to send an charge alarm; when the electric quantity of the electric vehicle is lower than the first alarming threshold value, peripheral signals are detected, and an alarm is sent out when a charging station around is detected to prompt a driver to charge the electric vehicle.
