The invention discloses an escalator pedal guard. The escalator pedal guard comprises a body, wherein a threaded part is arranged in the body and is connected with first electrodes; second electrodes fit with the first electrodes are also arranged in the body; and elastic components capable of maintaining disconnection gaps between the first electrodes and the second electrodes are arranged between the first electrodes and the second electrodes. The escalator pedal guard has the beneficial effects that the threaded part arranged on the escalator pedal guard is connected with screws used for fixing an escalator pedal, and when the screws and the threaded part are firmly connected, the first electrodes and the second electrodes are communicated by overcoming the elastic forces of the elastic components, so that people can know whether the screws and the threaded part are well connected by checking the on-off states between the first electrodes and the second electrodes via access detection equipment. The escalator pedal guard is used for escalators.
