The invention relates to a safety control method for preventing juveniles from taking an elevator alone. The safety control method comprises the steps that (1), an elevator safety control platform for preventing the juveniles from taking the elevator alone comprises an infrared detection device, a juvenile identification device and a Freescale IMX6 processor, wherein the infrared detection device is used for conducting detection in front of a door of a floor where an elevator car is located currently so as to determine whether targets waiting for the elevator car exist or not; the juvenile identification device is used for identifying whether the targets waiting the elevator car are the juveniles only or not; and the Freescale IMX6 processor is connected with the juvenile identification device and is used for determining whether the door of the floor where the elevator car is currently located is opened or not on the basis of an identification result of the juvenile identification device; and (2), the platform is used for carrying out safety control.
