The invention discloses an overhead travelling crane for mounting a laboratory artificial armor block. The overhead travelling crane comprises longitudinal guide beams, a horizontal guide beam, triangular supporting frames and a block hoisting device, wherein the longitudinal guide beams are two parallel steel tubes with an adjustable spacing; the overhead travelling crane longitudinally moves on the steel tubes through four wheels; the horizontal guide beam is connected with the triangular supporting frames through square sleeves; a spacing between the two triangular supporting frames is regulated by the sleeves in a sliding mode; the block hoisting device consists of a movable slide wheel, a fixed slide wheel, a steel wire rope, an automatic decoupling hook and a scale pointer; the movable slide wheel is matched with a transverse straight slot of the square tube through a T-shaped slide wheel rack for transversely moving the square tube; one end of the steel wire rope is used for hoisting a block through the automatic decoupling hook; and the other end of the steel wire rope is used for an operator to operate and pull the steel wire rope and control the automatic decoupling hook, thereby realizing mounting the block on any position of a slope surface. The overhead travelling crane has the advantages that: the overhead travelling crane for mounting the block is simple in structure, convenient in operation, capable of realizing precise positioning and mounting of the block, and capable of simulating a site block construction process to the greatest extent, so that block stability test results are more reliable.
