The invention relates to a clamp for round steel. The clamp comprises a lifting hook and a clamp body. The lifting hook is arranged at the upper end of the clamp body which comprises an upper end tensioning mechanism and a lower end clamping mechanism. The tensioning mechanism is in a rhombus shape with four edges hinged. The clamping mechanism is a pair of clamping hooks arranged symmetrically, and an outer clamping head and an inner clamping head extend in a Y shape from the tail end of each of the clamping hooks. Each outer clamping head is shorter than the corresponding inner clamping head. The connection position of each outer clamping head and the corresponding inner clamping head is in arc transition. The clamp for the round steel has the advantages that the clamp for the round steel is provided with the two clamping heads on each clamping hook, the inner clamping heads can be used for clamping the round steel with a larger diameter, and the outer clamping heads can be used for clamping the round steel with a smaller diameter and can also be used as a protector of the inner clamping heads; the outer clamping heads is shorter than the inner clamping heads, so that when the inner clamping heads are used for clamping the round steel, the outer clamping heads cannot obstruct clamping; by means of the arc transition, stress concentration is relived, and the intensity of the inner clamping heads and the outer clamping heads is guaranteed.
