The invention belongs to the technical field of elevator safety design, and discloses a space initiative reducing type position fixing mechanism. The space initiative reducing type position fixing mechanism comprises a fall protection controller, a power supply, an acceleration sensor, a wiring harness and forward electromagnetic field emission mechanisms; the fall protection controller, the power supply, the acceleration sensor and a wireless signal alerter are all sequentially arranged on the upper surface of the top of a lift car, the first forward electromagnetic field emission mechanism and the second forward electromagnetic field emission mechanism are both arranged on the lower bottom face of the lift car, and the third forward electromagnetic field emission mechanism and the fourth forward electromagnetic field emission mechanism are arranged in the lift car. According to the space initiative reducing type position fixing mechanism, when the fall protection controller monitors that the lift car falls through the acceleration sensor, the fall protection controller controls the wireless signal alerter to be opened, and an air cushion is formed between the first forward electromagnetic field emission mechanism and the second forward electromagnetic field emission mechanism to provide fall buffer power for trapped persons. The space initiative reducing type position fixing mechanism is reasonable in design, simple in structure and suitable for optimal design of a falling detraction system of a vertical elevator.
