The invention provides an automobile beginner mode control method for preventing from stepping on an accelerator by mistake. A function of preventing from stepping on the accelerator pedal by mistake can be achieved only by calibrating an ECU (Electronic Control Unit) accelerator control part of the traditional automobile; therefore, the method is convenient in use without changing an automobile structure and an operation method of the automobile; and the method is conductive to the popularization of the traditional automobiles. The automobile beginner mode control method mainly comprises the steps that A, a user opens a beginner mode switch, starts a beginner mode and carries out the next step; B, an electronic control unit ECU is exerted to monitor the opening and change rate of an electronic accelerator pedal; and if the opening of the electronic accelerator pedal is changed from 0 to 90% within a time section T or the change rate of the electronic accelerator pedal is more than 10%/ms within the time section T, the electronic control unit ECU is exerted to stop responding to a request of the electronic accelerator pedal; and C, the user closes the beginner mode switch and exits the beginner mode; and the electronic control unit ECU is exerted to respond to the request of the electronic accelerator pedal again.
