The invention relates to aloft positioning flight extinguishing equipment, and belongs to the field of fire fighting extinguishing systems. A method comprises the steps that a switch is started, a high-pressure pump draws water from a fire hydrant, and sprays water downwards through bottom layer water spraying openings, rising pressure is generated, and the flight extinguishing equipment gets off the ground; an infrared detector detects the fire position, a positioning controller receives a signal of the infrared detector and positions the position, and the water spraying amount of back-flushing pressure needed by a floor is calculated; and sprayed water rises to reach the designated floor to carry out extinguishment after positioning is carried out, water conveyed through a water conveying pipe is sprayed out from side water spraying openings and the bottom layer water spraying openings, and extinguishing can be achieved. The method has the beneficial effects that the equipment can precisely aim at the fire point, and extinguishing can be rapidly achieved; remote control can be achieved by a person, and the life safety of firefighters cannot be in danger.
