The invention discloses a diving breathing apparatus which comprises an air bottle, further comprises an air flow detection mechanism and a treatment unit, wherein the air flow detection mechanism is used for detecting the flow of compressed air within first set time; the treatment unit is connected with the air flow detection mechanism; the air flow detection mechanism can send a flow signal corresponding to the detected flow of the compressed air to the treatment unit; the treatment unit judges whether the flow of the compressed air within the first set time is in the set flow range; if the flow of the compressed air within the first set time is in the set flow range, the treatment unit marks that a diving breathing apparatus user breathes once, or the treatment unit does not count; within second set time, the steps are repeated, and the breathing times are counted and recorded. The diving breathing apparatus monitors the breathing state of the diving breathing apparatus user by measuring the air flow passing through an air pipeline.
