An intelligent bus stop system comprises a vehicle-mounted terminal, a center server and a plurality of station terminals. The technical main point is that a starting station and a last station of a bus line are provided with a starting station terminal and a last station terminal respectively. The vehicle-mounted terminal comprises a processor module I, two sets of alternatively-used GPS modules I connected with the signal input end of the processor module I, a display module I connected with the signal output end of the processor module I, a counting device connected with the signal input end of the processor module I, and a wireless communication module I connected with the processor module I and used for receiving and sending information. The intelligent bus stop system solves the problems that an existing bus stop cannot adjust departure interval accurately in real time according to people flow peak period and valley period, cannot configure vehicle load reasonably, and cannot reduce stop time to improve operating efficiency and the like.
