The invention discloses a locking clamp for a steel wire rope. The locking clamp comprises a base horizontally arranged. A first through arc-shaped groove is formed in the middle of the upper end face of the base, a left locking plate is detachably connected to the left end and arranged in the mode of inclining rightwards, and a 45-degree included angle is formed between the lower end of the left locking plate and the base. A second through arc-shaped groove is formed in the right end face of the left locking plate. A right locking plate is detachably connected to the right end of the base and arranged in the mode of inclining leftwards. The upper end of the right locking plate is fixedly connected with the upper end of the left locking plate. A 45-degree included angle is formed between the lower end of the right locking plate and the base. A third through arc-shaped groove is formed in the left end face of the right locking plate. The first arc-shaped groove, the second arc-shaped groove and the third arc-shaped groove are uniformly distributed in the circumferential direction. As the first arc-shaped groove, the second arc-shaped groove and the third arc-shaped groove are uniformly distributed in the circumferential direction, when the steel wire rope is locked, stress on the steel wire rope is uniform, the steel wire rope is not prone to damage, and is clamped and locked in a three-point mode, and the stress generated by rope release is effectively avoided.
