The invention discloses a method and device for transferring construction equipment for a hydroelectric station. According to the method and device for transferring the construction equipment for the hydroelectric station, an overhanging type transferring platform is built on a concrete foundation of the hydroelectric station, the water surface curve is located below the overhanging type transferring platform, and a hanging frame is built at the cantilever end of the overhanging type transferring platform; and the construction equipment for the hydroelectric station is hoisted onto a transport cart on the overhanging type transferring platform through a hoisting device on the hanging frame to be directly transported to a construction site after being transported to the position below the hanging frame through a transport ship by means of the good water transport condition of a reservoir area. The device can serve as a hoisting platform in the hydroelectric station construction period, so that the equipment transferring efficiency is improved, and the construction schedule is accelerated. The device can serve as a transferring wharf during later running of the hydroelectric station, the good water transport condition of the reservoir area is fully utilized for transporting maintenance equipment, cost is reduced, good economical benefits are achieved, and the method and device can be popularized in the hydroelectric station design field.
