The invention discloses a balancing pole for a crane. The balancing pole is connected with a sand box to be lifted, and comprises a pair of pole bodies, supports and level gauges, wherein the pole bodies are symmetrically and horizontally connected to the two ends of the sand box, the supports are connected to the middle portions of the pole bodies, and the level gauges are arranged on the middle portions of the supports. A sliding groove is horizontally formed in the middle of each pole body; the upper portions and the lower portions of the supports are respectively provided with multiple shaft sleeves with shaft holes formed inside, end plates at the two ends of the shaft sleeve on the lower portion of each support are clamped on the two sides of the corresponding sliding groove, and therefore the supports are connected to the middle portions of the pole bodies in a sliding mode. Accordingly, the supports on the pair of pole bodies and the shaft sleeves on the supports are symmetrical. Shaft rods which are fixedly inserted in the shaft sleeves are connected between the two supports; straight teeth used for fixing the positions of the supports are horizontally arranged on the inner walls of the sliding grooves, and locating claws opposite to the straight teeth are elastically hinged to the shaft sleeves. The balancing pole for the crane is novel in structure, good in balance and not prone to shaking.
