An aquatic plant transporter for an aquatic plant harvesting boat comprises a chain plate, chain wheels and chains. A motor drives the chain wheels to rotate and then drives the chain plate arranged on the chains to rotate. A plurality of water leakage holes are formed in the chain plate, and a plurality of plant leakage prevention mechanisms are arranged among the water leakage holes and are perpendicular to the chain plate. Each plant leakage prevention mechanism comprises a leakage prevention column or leakage prevention cone and a plurality of leakage prevention thorns arranged on the leakage prevention column or leakage prevention cone, and the leakage prevention thorns incline in the direction away from the plane of the chain plate. In the transporting process, aquatic plants which are cut off can be hung on the leakage prevention thorns and prevented from entering a water body along with water through the water leakage holes; when the leakage prevention thorns where the aquatic plants are hung bypass the chain wheels at the upper end along with rotation of the chain plate, the leakage prevention columns or leakage prevention cones face downwards, the leakage prevention thorns arranged on the leakage prevention columns or leakage prevention cones incline downwards, the aquatic plants separate from the leakage prevention thorns and fall into an aquatic plant collection device under the action of gravity, and therefore the problem that the aquatic plants return to the water body easily in the transporting process and cause secondary pollution is effectively solved.
