The invention relates to a crossroad traffic signal lamp time variable control system. According to the invention, laser correlation devices mounted at lane outlets of a crossroad are used to identify vehicles waiting for release at the lane outlets and calculate the number of vehicles which reach to a current crossroad after being released at a last crossroad, so that the traffic light timing plan is determined timely.
