The invention discloses a carbon fiber pedal for a bicycle and a preparation method thereof. The carbon fiber pedal comprises the following components weighed in parts by weight: PVC, MBS, dibasic lead phosphate, lead stearate, calcium stearate, an AC foaming agent, calcium carbonate, tribasic lead sulfate, antimonous oxide, carbon fiber and a plasticizer. According to the carbon fiber pedal, the tensile strength of the product is 40-60 MPa, the bending strength is 45-65 MPa, the heat deflection temperature of the product is 105-125 DEG C, the elasticity modulus is 500-700 MPa, the longitudinal dimension change rate is 1-3%, the elongation at break is 400-600%, the notch impact strength is 50-90 kJ/m<2>, the water absorption rate is 0.001-0.02%, and the friction coefficient is 0.1-0.14.
