The invention provides a bionic propulsion device capable of backing up underwater. The bionic propulsion device is composed of a driving mechanism, a swing arm mechanism and a limiting mechanism. The driving mechanism is mainly composed of a power shaft, supporting rods, a support and pins. The swing arm mechanism is composed of swing arms, blades and pins. The limiting mechanism is composed of limiting frames, hydraulic cylinders and oil tubes. In the work process, the supporting rods are driven by the axial movement of the power shaft, and the swing arms are driven by the supporting rods to swing back and forth. The blades are arranged on the swing arms through the pins, and can freely rotate around the pins. The limiting frames are driven by the hydraulic cylinders to move in the swing arms along the swing arms, and the blades are limited. The bionic propulsion device is simple in structure, low in noise, capable of backing up, and suitable for underwater robots and other underwater vehicles.
