The invention discloses a novel wind shield for a ship. The novel wind shield comprises an outer plate body (1). The outer plate body (1) is internally hollow and internally provided with an inner plate body (2). The bottom in the outer plate body (1) is further provided with a plurality of air cylinders (3) and a plurality of supporting columns (4). Telescopic rods of the air cylinders (3) are connected with the inner plate body (2). The inner plate body (2) can ascend and descend under the action of the air cylinders (3). The height of the supporting columns (4) is equal to the initial height of the air cylinders (3). According to the novel wind shield for the ship, the inner plate body can lift the air cylinders when wind waves are stormy, more water can be shielded, the inner plate body can be drawn back into the outer plate body when the sea surface is calm, at this moment, the supporting columns support the inner plate body, the air cylinders stop working, energy consumption is saved, and the service life is longer due to the fact that the pressure borne by the air cylinders is small.
