The invention discloses a method for integrally detaching a topside module of an offshore abandoned platform. The offshore abandoned platform is composed of a guide pipe rack and the topside module. After the topside module of an offshore platform is cut and separated from the guide pipe rack, two floatover barges are used for integrally lifting the whole topside module from two sides of the topside module and detaching from the guide pipe rack, thereby finishing field detachment, and a cargo ship is used for transporting the topside module to a destination place. The topside module of the offshore abandoned platform is integrally detached in a double-barge floating method. Integrity of the topside module of the offshore abandoned platform can be kept, thereby facilitating renewing and re-utilization of the module. Additionally a large-size floating crane can be prevented, thereby greatly reducing a cost.
