The invention relates to a bicycle control system with a function of preventing forward tumbling. The bicycle control system comprises a front brake handle, wherein the front brake handle comprises a handle seat, a handle, a rotary shaft and a connecting rod; the handle seat is arranged on a handlebar; and one end of the connecting rod is connected with the handle seat by the rotary shaft, and the other end of the connecting rod is connected with the handle. The bicycle control system is characterized by also comprising an electromagnetic lock, a control circuit board, a speed sensor and a battery, wherein the electromagnetic lock is arranged on the handle seat which is provided with a hole; the electromagnetic lock is provided with a locking tongue extending out of the hole; the locking tongue is positioned at one side of the connecting rod; the extending and retracting direction of the locking tongue is parallel to the axis of the rotary shaft; the electromagnetic lock and the speed sensor are electrically connected with the control circuit board; and the control circuit board, the electromagnetic lock and the speed sensor are electrically connected with the battery. The bicycle control system has the advantages that the condition that a beginner utilizes the front brake handle for emergent braking so to cause forward tumbling due to improper control of the gravity center can be avoided, so that a mountain bicycle has a safety mode, and the safety performance of the bicycle is enhanced.
