The invention belongs to the field of car driving technology, and discloses an electric car powertrain. The electric car powertrain comprises one or two motors and differential mechanisms, a middle shaft of a motor rotor is a hollow shaft, output shafts at one or two sides of a differential mechanism penetrate the middle shaft of one motor or respectively penetrate middle shafts of two motors, and the middle shafts of the motor rotors are connected with a housing of the differential mechanism. According to the electric car powertrain, the hollow shafts are employed to be the middle shafts of the motor rotors, and at least one output shaft of the differential mechanism is assembled in the middle shafts of the rotors. Compared with a present electric car powertrain having motors and differential mechanisms in parallel, the maximal difference is that the motors and the differential mechanisms are integrated, the transverse space occupation of the powertrain is small, no radial shearing force exists between the middle shafts of the motors and the output shafts of the differential mechanisms, the power loss is low during power transmission, and the transmission efficiency is high.
