The invention relates to a welding device for simulation after ship launching and a welding method of the welding device. The welding device comprises a simulation box. The simulation box comprises a hull outer board. Surrounding boards are welded to the periphery of the hull outer board. The simulation box with one open face is formed by the hull outer board and the surrounding boards. A hull inner structural board is arranged on the inner surface of the hull outer board. The hull inner structural board and the hull outer board are welded, and a weld joint is formed between the hull inner structural board and the hull outer board. The welding method includes the steps that the simulation box is arranged in water, the back face of the hull outer board is completely immersed in water, then, the weld joint needing repair welding is cleaned, welding faces are completely ground, impurities are removed, and welding is conducted in a welding mode of lateral intersection from the two ends to the middle. The lack-of-weld problem after ship launching can be effectively solved, so that secondary docking of a ship is avoided; the production cycle of the ship is guaranteed to a certain degree, and large economic losses caused by the accidental lack-of-weld condition are effectively avoided.
