The invention relates to the technical field of elevator transmission equipment, and especially relates to an efficient elevator guide wheel. The guide wheel comprises a wheel body, an axle, and wheel grooves. The axle and the wheel grooves are respectively on the center and the periphery of the wheel body. The wheel grooves are internally provided with clamping sleeves. The wheel grooves are internally provided with the clamping sleeves made of an elastic rubber material, and the cross section of the clamping sleeve is in a V shape, and two side edges are in a wedge shape. When a steep wire rope and the guide wheel have relative interaction, the clamping sleeves are extruded and sink, and two side edges gather together inward, and the side part of the steep wire rope is wrapped, so contact area and point of strength are increased, thereby preventing slipping, ensuring power, and greatly improving transmission performance and transmission efficiency of the guide wheel, and smooth and safe operation of an elevator is ensured.
