The invention relates to a dragon scooter type robot based on a slider-rocker mechanism. The dragon scooter type robot comprises a pair of rear wheels, a front wheel, a frame, an A-shaped frame and a rocker-slider mechanism, wherein the front wheels are rotationally connected with a front wheel frame; the front wheel frame is rotationally connected with the frame; the head part of the A-shaped frame is rotationally connected with the frame; two leg arms of the A-shaped frame are rotationally connected with rear wheel frames through a pair of rotating shafts, respectively; the rear wheels are rotationally connected with the rear wheel frames; the central axes of the rotating shafts have inclination angles theta with a vertical direction; a slider mechanism of the rocker-slider mechanism is fixedly arranged on the frame; a rocker mechanism of the rocker-slider mechanism is fixedly connected with the A-shaped frame; the rocker mechanism of the rocker-slider mechanism is driven by a motor to rotate; and the A-shaped frame is driven by the slider mechanism to swing from left to right so that the dragon scooter type robot is driven to advance. The dragon scooter type robot based on the slider-rocker mechanism, provided by the invention, is advantaged in that the robot expresses a strong interest; the robot can be used for entertainment and can be also used as a verification platform for studying a relevant theory of a nonholonomic system.
