The invention discloses an automobile daytime running light. The daytime running light comprises thermoelectric power generation sheets, cooling fins, LED light strips, a DC-DC automatic voltage increasing and decreasing module and heat-conducting silicon sheets. According to the connecting relation, the hot ends of the thermoelectric power generation sheets are fixed to the surface of an automobile cooling water tank water inlet pipe or a cooler through the heat-conducting silicon sheets, the cold ends of the thermoelectric power generation sheets adhere to the cooling fins through heat-conducting silicone grease, electric energy output of the thermoelectric power generation sheet set is connected with the DC-DC automatic voltage increasing and decreasing module, and the DC-DC automatic voltage increasing and decreasing module is connected with the LED light strips. Redundant heat, generated in running of an automobile, in a cooling water tank is utilized for enabling the LED light strips to emit light, so that the effects of energy conservation and environment protection are achieved, and energy consumption of the automobile is not increased. In addition, the structure is simple, and it is unnecessary to modify or damage an original circuit of the automobile.
