The invention relates to a device for transmitting data between a data transmission device (10) of a vehicle and a data transmission device (26) of a communications network as part of a charging process of an electrical energy store of the vehicle, the vehicle data transmission device (10) being based on a first communications protocol (HPGP) with a first signal level and the communications network data transmission device (26) being based on a second communications protocol (HPAV) with a second signal level. The device comprises a signal-matching device (30) having at least one first coupling transformer (31), which couples a data transmission device (20) of a charging station to the data transmission devices (10, 26) of the vehicle and of the communications network via respective coils, the signal-matching device (30) matching the first signal level to the second signal level and vice versa.
