The invention discloses a parking stall detection system and method based on doppler radar and terrestrial magnetism detection. Based on a parking stall original state of no parking, dynamic detection of an automobile is carried out by utilization of a doppler radar module, and static detection of an automobile is carried out by utilization of a terrestrial magnetism detection unit. Through integrated analysis of the two detection results, a parking state of the preset detected parking stall is discriminated furthermore, and an accurate detection result can be obtained.
