The invention relates to an S-mode secondary radar roll-call querying method by taking ADS-B information as a background. The method comprises the following steps: under the condition of an S-mode roll-call querying mode, a radar system carrying out roll-call querying according to an object covered by a current wave beam position, and at the same time, establishing a roll-call querying sequential table of a next wave beam position; carrying out the roll-call querying according to a sequence from a low track quality factor to a high quality factor, and if the current wave beam position covers many objects, the radar system preferentially carrying out the roll-call querying on objects with poor track quality so as to update an old track; and if the current wave beam position covers a small number of objects, the radar system arranging one or more S-mode general call queries so as to discover new objects. According to the invention, an S-mode secondary radar system and an ADS-B monitoring system are ingeniously combined together, on the basis that the cost is greatly saved, the S-mode secondary radar system is enabled to realize a double-monitoring function of both S-mode query monitoring and ADS-B monitoring, and the information monitoring reliability is improved.
