The invention relates to an anti-falling locking mechanism for the stall of a drive device of a lift. The anti-falling locking mechanism is arranged on the drive device of the lift. The drive device of the lift comprises a motor, a roller, a coupler and roller brake pads. The roller is connected with the output end of the motor through the coupler. The roller brake pads are arranged at the two ends of the roller. The locking mechanism comprises braking devices, a travel switch and a controller. The braking devices are arranged on the side edges of the roller brake pads. The travel switch is arranged at the coupler. The braking devices and the travel switch are both connected with the controller. When the coupler triggers the travel switch when being cut off or loosened, signals of the travel switch are transmitted to the controller, the controller controls the braking devices to be started to lock the roller brake pads, and rotation of the roller is stopped. Compared with the prior art, the anti-falling locking mechanism has the advantages of being compact in structure, capable of saving space, convenient to adjust, good in locking effect and the like.
