The invention relates to the technical field of marine equipment tests, and in particular to a method for improving the towing stability of a T-shaped jacket launching barge. A first ship model provided with a deadwood structure and a second ship mold provided with no deadwood structure are utilized for conducting a still water rolling fading test and a towing test in waves in a deepwater towing water pool for obtaining natural rolling periods of the first ship model and the second ship model, damping coefficients obtained when the rolling angle is 2 degrees, the statistical result of towing motion numerical values in waves and statistical results of towing force numerical values in waves, and a towing yawing oscillation motion curve in waves and a towing swaying motion curve in waves are drawn according to the data statistical result. The tests show that the first ship model effectively reduces swaying of the launching barge compared with the second ship model, the shipping-direction stability is improved, the towing force is reduced, the towing efficiency is improved, and the towing cost is saved.
