The invention provides an automobile exterior rear-view mirror having laser radar and an automobile. The automobile exterior rear-view mirror having the laser radar comprises a rear-view mirror housing and a lens embedded into the rear-view mirror, wherein the front part of the rear-view mirror housing facing the driving direction is provided with at least one laser radar. With the at least one laser radar on the front part of the rear-view mirror housing facing the driving direction, laser radar detection width and length can be effectively increased and no effect is caused to automobile overall appearance; high-speed detection caution lines are seemly added to two sides of the automobile during the driving; and vehicles in front of the automobile and pedestrians can be effectively detected by the laser radar on the external edges of two sides of the automobile, so safe driving is guaranteed.
