The invention relates to an off-road commanding military vehicle lightweight upper front control arm. The control arm comprises a control arm body. The control arm body is composed of a torsion rod spring base connecting end and a supporting end, wherein the torsion rod spring base connecting end and the supporting end are distributed in the shape of V. The end, connected with the supporting end, of the torsion rod spring base connecting end is provided with a main shaft connecting hole. The other end of the torsion rod spring base connecting end and the other end of the supporting end are each provided with a torsion rod connecting hole, and the axis of the main shaft connecting hole is perpendicular to the axes of the torsion rod connecting holes. The end, close to the main shaft connecting hole, of the torsion rod spring base connecting end and the end, close to the main shaft connecting hole, of the supporting end are in enhanced connection through a connecting plate. One end of the connecting plate is connected with the main shaft connecting hole, and the other end of the connecting plate is located in the middle of the torsion rod spring base connecting end. The back side, close to the main shaft connecting hole, of the connecting plate is further provided with a groove. The control arm has the beneficial effect that by reducing the overall length of the connecting plate and forming the groove on the back side of the connecting plate, the purpose of reducing the weight of the control arm is achieved.
