The invention relates to the field of mechanical hoisting of movement and transportation of heavy devices and provides a multiple-claw heavy-type grasping hoisting apparatus being novel in structure, being safe and practical and being flexible and convenient. The hoisting apparatus includes a plurality of claws, a pedestal, a plurality of hydraulic cylinders and a lifting lug. The claws are uniformly distributed at the periphery of the pedestal. Upper connecting grooves of the claws are connected to the hydraulic cylinders through pins. A body of each hydraulic cylinder is connected to a connecting groove on the pedestal through pins, wherein the connecting groove is fixed on the pedestal in a welding manner. The lifting lug is fixed on the pedestal in a connecting manner of a screw thread pair. When the hoisting apparatus is used, a hoisting arm is fixedly connected to a lifting ring through a rope or like and a hydraulic tube is connected to the hydraulic cylinders, wherein the pressure in the hydraulic cylinders is controlled to be equal by means of control of a hydraulic control system on the same valve, so that the claws can grasp and place an object in any geometrical shapes. The hoisting apparatus achieves a function of multiple-claw heavy-type grasping hoisting, is simple in structure, is flexible in use and is convenient to operate.
