The invention provides an elevator inquiring and reserving method. The elevator inquiring and reserving method comprises the following steps: downloading an elevator inquiring and reserving APP on a terminal; acquiring the positioning information of an elevator GPRS positioning unit through the elevator inquiring and reserving APP; selecting and acquiring the pushing information of an elevator controller through the elevator inquiring and reserving APP; and selecting and reserving the elevator controller through the elevator inquiring and reserving APP. The reserving information comprises a beginning floor number and a destination floor number. With the method, an elevator can be inquired and reserved in advance, the information pushed by the elevator controller can be broadcast through voice, and a user does not need to watch a mobile phone all the time; the inquiry interval can be set, and the current elevator load condition can also be inquired; when the elevator is to arrive at the reserved beginning floor, whether the reservation of the user is kept or not is inquired through voice, so that the condition that the delay of the elevator on the reserved beginning floor wastes the time of users using the elevator due to the cancelling of the reservation of the user is avoided.
