The invention discloses a damping adjusting mechanism for a car seat. The damping adjusting mechanism comprises a drawing wire for adjusting a damper, an adjusting handle arranged on the damper and a telescopic mechanism, wherein the telescopic mechanism is matched with the drawing wire and used for driving the adjusting handle to rotate. The telescopic mechanism comprises a guide column rotatably connected with the adjusting handle, a guide sleeve arranged outside the guide column in a sleeving mode and a spring arranged in the guide column and the guide sleeve. The guide sleeve can stretch out and draw back along the inner side wall of the guide sleeve under the action of the spring. One end of the drawing wire is fixedly connected with the guide column, and the other end of the drawing wire penetrates through the telescopic mechanism and the spring located in the telescopic mechanism to be fixedly connected with a shock absorber. The telescopic mechanism is fixedly connected with the damper through a fixed seat. By means of the damping adjusting mechanism, a seat cushion adjusting process can be stable, and the adjusting angle is more precise.
