The invention discloses a switched reluctance control system for elevators. The switched reluctance control system comprises an electric energy input module (1), wherein the electric energy input module (1) is connected with a power converter (2), the power converter (2) is connected with a switched reluctance motor (3), the switched reluctance motor (3) is connected with an elevator load (4) and also connected with a current detection module (5) and a position detection module (6) which are connected with a controller (7), the controller (7) is connected with a protection circuit (8), the protection circuit (8) is connected with the power converter (2), the controller (7) is also connected with an output circuit (9), the output circuit (9) is connected with the power converter (2) and also connected with an error report circuit (10), and the error report circuit (10) is connected with the protection circuit (8).
