The present invention concerns a rubber composition made from a reinforcing filler and an elastomer matrix comprising a highly saturated diene elastomer comprising at least the units of the following categories A, B, C, D and E, distributed statistically within the elastomer: Formula (A) in a molar fraction of m%, Formula (C) in a molar fraction of 0%, Formula (B) in a molar fraction of n%, Formula (D) in a molar fraction of p%, unit D forming a 1,2-cyclohexane bivalent hydrocarbon ring having 6 carbon atoms, Formula (E) in a molar fraction of q%, unit E forming a 1,4-cyclohexane bivalent hydrocarbon ring having 6 carbon atoms, - m + n + o + p + q = 100 - m >= 50 - n + o + p + q >= 10 - 15 >= p + q >= 2 wherein R1 and R2, which are identical or different, designate a hydrogen atom, a methyl radical or a phenyl radical, substituted or unsubstituted in the ortho, meta or para position with a methyl radical; m, n, o, p and q are numbers ranging from 0 to 100. This rubber composition attains a satisfactory level of rigidity and retains acceptable hysteresis properties for use in the production of tyres for wheeled vehicles (img file='DDA0000763846040000011.TIF' wi='1417' he='1468'/).
