Multi-effect composite material for automotive impact beams is made from, by weight, 11 to 15 parts of alumina, 9 to 12 parts of silicon dioxide, 20 to 35 parts of iron powder, 6 to 9 parts of nickel powder, 9 to 13 parts of zirconia, 8 to 12 parts of cobalt, 10 to 16 parts of copper, 8 to 14 parts of high-density polyethylene, 15 to 20 parts of organic silicon modified phenolic resin, 4.5 to 7 parts of hydroxy benzyl acrylate, 6 to 11 parts of flake graphite, 6 to 8 parts of isopropyl tris(dioctyl phosphoryl) titanate, 10 to 13 parts of waste PVC (polyvinyl chloride), 3 to 5 parts of sodium methylate and 30 to 50 parts of synthetic steel. The multi-effect composite material is good in energy absorption effect and high in strength and rigidity and helps well ensure automotive safety.
