A horizontal rolling spreader is characterized by comprising a lifting lug, a hanging shaft, a first shaft, an inner link, an outer link, a second shaft, a clamp arm, an outer clamp arm, a support plate, a third shaft, a lock rack, a spin lock, a fourth shaft and a fifth shaft. The upper end of lifting lug is provided with the hanging shaft; the lower end of the lifting lug, the upper end of the inner link and the upper end of the outer link are hinged to the first shaft; the lower end of the inner link and the upper end of the inner clamp arm are hinged to the second shaft; the lower end of the outer link and the upper end of the outer clamp arm are hinged to the fifth shaft; the middle end of the inner clamp arm is hinged to the fourth shaft; the middle end of the outer clamp arm is hinged on the third shaft; the support plate is fixedly connected to the two ends of the third shaft and the fourth shaft; the lock rack is fixedly connected in the middle parts of the third shaft and the fourth shaft; and the spin lock sleeving on the first shaft is in movable connection with the lock rack. The has the advantages of simple and reasonable structure, flexible and reliable movement, safe and convenient lifting and automatic opening and closure of spreader, is applicable to transshipment of horizontal rolling or horizontal rolling-like cylindrical objects in mass volumes of steel, ports, and harbor enterprises.
