A parking lot management system capable of preventing a vehicle from being stolen mainly receives an identification unit code input by a vehicle driver and a set of self-defined code and the license number of the vehicle after a vehicle enters into a parking lot. When the identification unit code and the self-defined code are received, the vehicle is forbidden to leave until the identification unit code and the self-defined code is received again. When the vehicle leaves the parking lot, whether the identification unit code, the self-defined code and the license number of the vehicle are consistent is checked. If yes, the vehicle is allowed to leave. The identification of identification unit code, the self-defined code and the license number of the vehicle and vehicle leaving control reduce the possibility of vehicle theft.
