The invention discloses a telescopic mechanism. The telescopic mechanism comprises three groups or more than three groups of telescopic unit components which are connected in series in a side-by-side manner and can do telescopic movement by connection with each other, wherein all the groups of telescopic unit components are connected in sequence in a side-by-side manner by connecting blocks and enclose to form a polygonal frame structure; each telescopic unit component comprises a plurality of groups of telescopic units hinged in sequence in a head-to-end manner; and the telescopic unit comprises two telescopic arms which are hinged by respective central parts in a crossing manner. The telescopic mechanism disclosed by the invention has the advantages that all the groups of telescopic unit components can do synchronous movement, and the telescopic stability can be improved, so that the stressing of the whole telescopic mechanism is uniform; all the telescopic arms hinged in a crossing manner form a triangular structure, so that the smoothness of operation and the super-strong stability of the three-dimensional structure can be effectively guaranteed.
