The invention relates to an active safety protection device for riding. The active safety protection device comprises a mobile terminal, a wireless transmission module and a prompt module. The mobile terminal is used for matching with an electronic map in a real-time mode in order to obtain a current position of the electronic map, the distance between the current position and a road junction of motor vehicles, time spent on riding to the road junction of motor vehicles and output of an alarm control instruction. The wireless transmission module is used for establishing an output channel of the alarm control instruction. The prompt module is used for outputting of prompt information in a corresponding manner based on the alarm control instruction outputted by the result for matching data of the current position with the electronic map. During operation, the mobile terminal is used for obtaining data of the current position in a real-time mode and matching with the built-in electronic map in order to obtain distance between the current position and the road junction of motor vehicles or time spent on riding from the current position to the road junction of motor vehicles and output the alarm control instruction. The wireless transmission module is used for sending an instruction for outputting a corresponding hint to the prompt module so as to remind riders to be careful. The occurrences of accidents at positions where riders meet motor vehicles at municipal service road junctions and collisions of motor vehicles are decreased so that safety of bicycle riding is enhanced.
