A steel wire rope arranging device based on gear reversing mainly and structurally comprises a base, a linear guide rail, a slider, a lead screw, a guide roller, a support, a winding drum, a reversing rod, a common motor, a reversing mechanism box, a fixed gear shaft, a fixed gear, an idler gear, an idler gear shaft, a spline shaft, a shifting fork and a sliding gear. The linear guide rail, the support, the common motor and the reversing mechanism box are fixed on the base, a threaded hole matched with the lead screw is formed in the slider, the slider is mounted on the linear guide rail and can reciprocate on the linear guide rail, the guide roller is mounted on the slider, the fixed gear, the idler gear and the sliding gear are mounted on the fixed gear shaft, the idler gear shaft and the spline shaft respectively, the three shafts are mounted on the reversing mechanism box, the shifting fork is mounted on the sliding gear and can shift the sliding gear to reciprocate on the spline shaft, the reversing rod is hinged to the shifting fork through a ball head, the idler gear is constantly meshed with a left fixed gear, and the spline shaft and the fixed gear shaft are connected with the common motor and the lead screw through couplers respectively.
