The invention discloses a horizontal conveying device capable of crossing steps and ramps. The horizontal conveying device is characterized in that two front master wheels are installed at the front end of the bottom face of an article carrier, a front auxiliary wheel is installed on the inner side of each front master wheel, two rear master wheels are installed at the rear end of the bottom face of the article carrier, a rear auxiliary wheel is installed on the inner side of each rear master wheel, and six fixing accessory installation screw grooves are uniformly disposed at positions, close to edges, of the upper surface of the article carrier. Through the arrangement, the horizontal conveying device is equipped with the multiple retractable wheels and can hold balance of carried goods in the conveying process. Anchor rings or fences can be installed on the article carrier as needed, and the horizontal conveying device is convenient for transportation, reduces manpower and material resources and lowers conveying cost.
