The invention discloses a battery pack for a hybrid electric vehicle. The battery pack comprises a left battery pack and a right battery pack. The left battery pack comprises total voltage wiring harnesses, left voltage sampling wiring harnesses connected to the total voltage wiring harnesses, temperature sampling wiring harnesses used for detecting temperature of all positions of packs, a left sensor located in the left battery pack, a pre-charge relay wiring harness, a connection relay control terminal, a current sensor interface and BMS substrate wiring harnesses of two cooling fans. The right battery pack comprises a control wiring harness, a high-voltage engine wiring harness, a right voltage sampling wiring harness in series connection with the left voltage sampling wiring harnesses, a pre-charge resistance wiring harness connected to the pre-charge relay wiring harness, and a right sensor connected to a right battery. The battery pack for the hybrid electric vehicle has following beneficial effects: due to the above design, the battery pack is reliably installed and positioned so that the overall set of wiring harnesses can be conveniently installed, detached and maintained, thereby ensuring that the battery pack normally works with reliability because of the overall set of wiring harnesses; and a safety coefficient of electric parts of the vehicle in operation is increased.
