Disclosed is an automobile rear axle middle-section assembly machining method. The method comprises the following machining steps: (1) feeding a 1220*220mm strip material, and feeding a 610*220mm block material, (2) performing pre-blanking, (3) performing drawing molding, (4) cutting lengths of two ends of upper and lower pieces, (5) punching a hole, the inner diameter is 206mm, in the upper piece, (6) punching a hole, the inner diameter is 200mm, in the lower piece, (7) shaping two ends the outer diameter [phi] dimension is 81mm, (8) correcting parallelism, (9) cutting two-end straight lines of the upper and lower pieces, (10) punching a hole, the diameter of which is 30mm, in the lower piece, (11) punching a hole, the diameter of which is 16mm, in the upper piece, (12) cleaning parts, (13) performing welding on the upper and lower pieces, (14) welding a reinforcing ring, and (15) welding an axle housing cover assembly. The method can effectively improve product performance, welding anastomosis between the two ends and matched members is good, and the service life of an axle housing is prolonged; and machining efficiency is high, and labor intensity can be greatly reduced.
