In order to improve the contact reliability between a circuit board and harness-side terminal fittings, a card edge connector comprises: a harness-side connector (H) having a plurality of terminal fittings (50) arranged in parallel on a harness-side housing (10); and a substrate-side connector (P) causing a connection edge section (63) of the circuit board (62) to protrude from the front surface (60F) of a substrate-side housing (60). The harness-side housing (10) has: a terminal housing unit (39) that houses the plurality of terminal fittings (50); and a housing housing unit (48) arranged so as to face the front surface (39F) of the terminal housing unit (39) and which houses the substrate-side housing (60) fitted to the harness-side housing (10). An elastic member (49) that impels the terminal housing unit (39) and the substrate-side housing (60) in a direction that causes same to approach or move away in a direction parallel to the fitting direction is provided inside the housing housing unit (48).
