The invention discloses an electronic steering column lock control system. After the electronic steering lock receives the locking triggering signals and the corresponding implementing condition is determined, a motor is driven to move; before a lock tongue arrives at locking position, a calculator is used to carry out step length accumulation in normal progress; if the lock tongue does not arrive at the locking position when the time of driving the motor is out, the electronic steering lock will carry out step length accumulation N times than the normal progress; when the accumulation value is accumulated enough to arrive at the limiting value of opening a protection door, the locking position won't be performed and at the same time the execution motor power source is cut off; the calculator will accumulate in degression; and when the value accumulated in degression by the calculator arrives at the limiting value of closing the protection door, at this time, the locking/ unlocking operation is allowed to perform while supplying the execution motor power source again. According to the electronic steering column lock control system provided here, if a fault of inner mechanical structure exists in the electronic steering column lock, the lock tongue won't arrive at the locking position; the control motor is stopped moving; and as a result, the motor is prevented from heating due to continuous power supply.
