The invention relates to the field of an automobile SBS (Supplemental Inflatable Restraint System), and concretely belongs to an SBS igniter. The SBS igniter comprises a detonating opening, a cartridge case, a priming supporter, an electric heating wire, electrodes, a ceramic sheet, insulation gaskets, a permanent magnet and lead-out conducting wires which are in sequential connection in sequence. Preferably, cylindrical priming is embedded in the priming supporter. Preferably, insulation sleeves are arranged on the lead-out conducting wires. Preferably, a cylindrical electric heating head is arranged inside the electric heating wire. The SBS igniter has the advantages that the structure is compact; the design is reasonable; the lead end of the igniter is electrified; current passes through the electric heating head; the electric heating head heats; the priming is ignited; and the generated pressure and heat impact the cartridge case for igniting an ignition system of an inflator, and the fast inflation of an air bag is realized.
