A 24V self-generating electric vehicle adopts the structure that a forward diode (3) is additionally arranged in a 24V battery jar output circuit; electricity in the battery jar is discharged to the load circuit of the electric vehicle in the form of positive electricity through the forward diode; when the electric quantity (voltage) of the battery jar is lower than a set value, a generator starts to generate electricity automatically; electricity generated by the generator is discharged to the battery jar in the form of an about 5A current through a diode (4), and is discharged to the load circuit of the electric vehicle in the form of an about 50A current through a diode (5), so that the energy required by the load circuit can be met through electricity of which the voltage is 24V.
